Resources
As part of the Business Intelligence Center of Excellence's focus on promoting data literacy, we provide the University of Chicago community with information and instruction on the tools and technologies they can use to analyze data for planning and decision-making purposes.
Self-service materials, training sessions, and peer-to-peer learning opportunities enable UChicago community members to manage their own data dashboards and reports, troubleshoot issues, discover best practices, and further their understanding of the full capabilities of the BI COE ecosystem.
Knowledge Base Articles
ServiceNow hosts an extensive library of articles for self-service support, instruction, and other helpful information on our reporting platforms and associated technologies. Topics include data load and maintenance schedules, training materials, and FAQs.
Tableau User Group
The UChicago Tableau User Group brings UChicago staff together to connect, learn, and discuss all things Tableau. Employees from departments across campus share their tips, techniques, and experiences, and presenters share insights using Tableau for various University projects. The UChicago Tableau User Group meets every quarter.
Training
BI COE provides training sessions on various data analysis and reporting tools used across the institution. As users build their understanding and skills, they can explore and analyze data on their own, leading to discoveries and insights that can improve individual, departmental, and institutional efficiency and success.
